HISTORY: The British Giant of course comes from Britain and was the creation of Mr R. Kirk. He developed these rabbits from early strains of continental Flemish Giants. The British Giant as it is known today in various colours became popular in the 1940's. It got its name which was originally Brittish-Flemish Gaint in 1960, when exhibited in London. These rabbits were bred for meat and fur production.
AVERAGE WEIGHT: minimum does 6.123kgs, minimum bucks 5.67kgs.
COLOURS: White, Black, Dark Steel Grey, Blue, Brown Grey, Opal.
