HISTORY: The New Zealand rabbit was orginally developed in America in 1924 approximately. Little is known of their origin but it is said that they were developed in the red colour firstly and other colours in the standard followed. They were not developed as the name implies in New Zealand as the glamerous picture of the history of the breed.

AVERAGE WEIGHT: 4.08kg - 5.44kgs.

COLOURS: Bright clean and white, avoiding tellow coats. Eyes to be pink with good depth of colour.
