Training Section 1.
House / litter box training.

Training is best done as young as possible, rabbit behaviour is to naturally look for a safe place to do their business, this is usually a corner or behind furniture. I generally recommend that when you begin to house train you house bunny that you start from their hutch weather it be the indoor or out side version. This is done by putting a litter box/tray into their hutch area with either sand, wood shavings or Breeders choice litter bought from any local supermarket.
When preparing your home I recommend that you buy several litter trays and place them in all the corners of the rooms in which bunny will be allowed to roam. Your bunny will get into the habit of using these trays with a little help from you each ½ hour put bunny into one of the trays so it may do its business if needed. If bunny does have and accident involving urine clean the area with vinegar and water 1/3 vinegar to 2/3 of water to clean the area vinegar helps neutralise the smell and keeps bunny away from that area. If you find your bunny is hard to train (usually this is because bunny is not de-sexed) then a water bottle spay to the face when bunny has had an accident may encourage bunny to go to the tray. Rabbits are very clever and will learn.
As time goes by you will see which litter tray is being used and then you can cut down on the number of them leaving the favourite one. Make sure this is cleaned regularly.
WARNING.

DO NOT USE GEL OR CLAY BASED LITTER FOR YOUR RABBIT AS THIS IS A KILLER.
